Chester Zoo
Rebrand of the UK’s number one zoo
The project included brand identity, advertising (print and TV), marketing, signage, merchandise and web. The challenge was to develop a brand strategy that would cover the visitor attraction and conservation elements of the zoo’s offer. We created for them their own bespoke, hand-drawn font, the antithesis of a traditional corporate identity to capture a more natural, human approach to embody the passion and commitment of the zoo’s staff and stakeholders.
